Organising events 2.0: invite business units with just one click

Inviting large groups of people to a company event is a big task if you have to select each colleague individually. Here at Speakap, we want to help you work as efficiently as possible; that's why we've launched a new update in our events feature!

Invite business units with the touch of a button

Inviting large groups of employees in your organisation is no longer a problem. You can now select entire business units and departments, making the event creation process a breeze! 

How you can do this is as follows:

Create a new public event to invite business units or departments.


A new event opens where you can fill in all the details of the upcoming event, such as the name, location, when it takes place and a description of it.

When you click on invitees, you can now select which departments and business units you want to invite.

Event Invite-colleagues

After you have sent the invitations, all invitees included in the selected business units will see the event on their timeline. They can then indicate if they will be present or not (or maybe!) at the event.

Guests will also see the event in their own event overview. The details of the event can also be viewed here.

Automatically add events to your calendar

To automatically add the event to your own calendar application, you can generate a URL via 'My settings' > 'General' > 'Events'. From now on, your will no longer have to add an event separately to your agenda - it will synchronise automatically.
